Exeter's Wildflower Meadows 07/06/2017 For most of the year Exeter is a great place to live, with its green fields and open spaces. But in the summer it becomes spectacular, as wild meadows spring up in fields all around the city. For a couple of weeks in July, cornflowers compete for attention with poppies in a sea of blue and red, punctuated by the yellow and white of daisies. I love to photograph the flowers backlit (with the sun shining through them from behind), so I usually set off early in the morning or later in the evening,
